A Woman of Substance

A woman of substance is a woman of power, that knows her value, respects herself, sets boundaries, is a woman of positive influence.

Can every woman be a woman of substance?

YES!

You can start today working towards being the woman you were born to be. You see we tend to fit in mostly, to try and be part of, to feel a certain way, most of the times to fill a void, an empty space that was created in our childhood, and so we end up in the wrong experiences, with the wrong connections, friends, partners, a job we don't love, and a feeling of failure, and so on.

There are a chain of women that have shifted and became more of what they thought they were born to be, mostly because they believed.

Women that were left by their husbands and felt destroyed and never thought there would be something better out there, but believed.

Women that lost everything and walked back in by not giving up and believing.

Women that suffered traumas and have carried pain and shame most of their lives, their have learned to wear that trauma and conquer the world.

Every woman fight an individual battle yet familiar to any other women. What I feel inside, you feel inside, humanity, biology unite us, we are not competition but the same.

There are steps to become, there are tips we can follow, but the real deal is when we shift our subconscious and challenge our inner conflicts and stand towards a change. and you can do it, because is possible.

Let me ask you to close your eyes and imagine, if there was no obstacles, if nothing was in the way, and you could be, do or have anything in this lifetime, how would that look like?, what would you accomplish?? give up? how would you be? talk, walk? who were you?

Now let me tell you something, the gap between that version of yourself and who you are today is simply a decision. BELIEVE.

I have a dear friend, that we talk about many things, we share goals, achievements and insecurities. We chat about things once and we find a solution, we don't dwell on whats wrong, feels bad, or is confusing. We aim for solution and that is what we focus on.

Let me tell you a little about her.

Like me there was a time she was lost, lived in fear and doubt. She put herself in positions where self love were questionable, and as much as she wanted to change she wasn't ready, not strong enough.

Despite many talks and strategies nothing seemed to help her to make the right choices, yet she was taking baby steps.

She invested in herself, self development has become part of her routine, and everyday a little more she was becoming stronger, more powerful, more certain, able to set boundaries and putting herself first.

Within two years she brought her house independently without anyones support and started her business as a business consultant, she travels often and loves her expensive wine.

Looking back remembering there was a time she cried as she was not sure what she was going to do with her life, she questioned how would she be able to afford university, she smiles knowing that at times we might not understand but we are exactly where we need to be to go where we need to go. BELIEVE.

Nàdia Carvalho: is challenging because everyday you want to prove to yourself that you can make it happen, and you can also do the best for your child in all aspects,
