Hey Guys
I am thrilled to finally share my first post! On my first post I will tell you a little bit about my journey… I am generally very private and starting a blog has taken a bit of thought and courage! However I have inspired many people through the years and their amazing and powerful feedback pushed me to finally step out of the shade…
My story is a tool to help others.
I created Mama Woman Wine Blog to share with the world my passions and other little things such as the wonders of being a women a mother and everything in between.
Being a mother is my biggest pride in between many other little things.
Now
who am I?
I am that girl…
That girl who had a baby at 15 years old, and so her life changed dramatically, ending up being stereotyped and discriminated on a daily basis.
That girl,
Who had her dreams put down the drain because she “destroyed her life as she became a mother at such a young age” and she was to be convinced that there was no future for her and her child.
Yes that's true!
That girl who heard the doctor say “see you next year” when she was leaving the hospital with her baby… strangers commenting on how lost she was…and the nurses at the hospital… Lets skip the nurses!
I was that girl everyone thought she would end up living in misery and having loads of kids, with no education or a stable base to become anything in life…
Because she was a teen mother in such a judging and stereotypical world.
For them I was just another statistic!
A teenage mother without her parents! therefore the stories repeats its cycle.
I am that girl who had her baby taken out of her arms by the woman who she trusted and end up having to “child abduct” her own son.
Who fought a battle alone and struggled to overcome such a huge trauma. The girl who has emigrated at the age of 16 and so her adventure began:
So much has been learned, changed, created and achieved since then… A new language,
Fit in a new culture,
Deal with grief
Overcome depression
Educate herself,
Complete a Bachelor Degree in Psychology,
Build a career and
Fall in love alongside with being a single and full time mother in a busy city – London!!
I am that girl that along the way have met incredible people, whom in their positive or negative way have played an important role in her journey, they were needed!
I am that girl who has fallen in love and been heart broken, who has helped, trusted and been let down many times... but hey who didn’t???
That girl who has failed and has let insecurities take over once. But most importantly I am the girl who despite all the bumps in the road has made it and 16 years after her first born she gave birth again to another beautiful boy
I am that girl who have created a loving, respectful and healthy relationship with her best friend, despite of being let down in the past by the love of her life.
I am that girl who is not just another statistic!
She is a happy woman who wants to help others to go through all the bumps in the road and succeed, because is so possible.
I am that girl that never stopped believing that it was possible, she worked n herself,
committed to self development
and started her forever spiritual journey...
By doing all from a space of LOVE at all times.
Sending love and sprinkles of strength to all of you x
