Heyaa,

How is Ya'll doing?

So, as you know once in a while I write posts as a diary, where I share thoughts, ideas, experiences and more.

I have been thinking and would start doing it more often along with my poems, strategy posts, and your letters and stories.

I usually call it the “vulnerable zone” posts because I tend to open up and chat about some deep topics, such as personal experiences.

Feel free to join and share your diaries too!!

So,

This week I came back from one of the amazing holidays I have been, ( I guess I say this every time I am back from a holiday 😂)

No... for real it was truly AMAZING!

I went to Miami ( I’ll post some pictures), with 3 girls that are very dear to my heart.

This holiday was a birthday surprise, and what a surprise RIGHT???

For those who know me, I am a Beach and Sun girl, I like to be in my shorts and Havaianas, wild and free, I love the sound of the waves and the peace this brings to me.

This holiday was much needed for various reasons, it was a time for reflection and relaxation.

And I really needed...

I have learned about myself a bit more and about those who shared the same room as me throughout the mini-break.

9 HOURS FLIGHT

WOW, this was intense!!

The trip was long and left easier to comeback then go.

On my way to Miami, it was hard to sleep, I watched Movies, wrote, read a book, played TRIVIA with the girls, drank and socialized. Slept and woke up, connected to the Wi-Fi and chatted with others outside the plane ahhh and there were still a few hours left...

I stayed t thinking I would just sleep in the plane who else was ever like me????

I would love suggestions on ways to relax and sleep on the plane on long flights...

my sister did her Yoga, Reiki to the girls, read, slept and meditated, she managed not to be anxiously bored at all 😂😂

HELLO MIAMI

Four girls coming out of the plane exited, the airport is small, and the toilets were not the best... but Oh well we ARE in Miami Nadinha stop with your clean freak habits pleaseee!!!

Miami hugged me like “I have been waiting for you for a long-time girl”... the heat, the palm trees, and the beautiful and summery sky were just astonishing.

We dropped our bags at the hotel, freshened up and went to the beach to see the sunset 🌅...

It was magical! The different colors on the sky, the reflection in the warm water the breeze and the sound of the waves, it was a unique moment where I connected with myself deeply.

Time was 5 hours behind from London, I was awake for over 24h, so you can imagine how knackered I was...

I was so grateful to be there... just tired.

I took my time to thank God for Nature, for the things that I have, for the dreams that have come true, for all that I have accomplished, I stood before that paradise and I was grateful for all in my life.

Becks programmed everything and organized activities for us to do, she was brilliant. We went on a bus trip, boat trip, to see the Alligators ( trust I have been trying to say the word with the accent and I fail every time 😂). I held an Alligator 😎 (Okok was a baby alright..) however all the experience was amazing and I learned about these animals and how there are more deaths reported of people dying by a coconut dropping in their heads than attacked by alligators, we are not appealing to them and they do not see us as food.

We passed through celebrities' houses, their yacht, Gloria Stephan both bars, The Cuban culture is great, the Cuban cigars and Mojitos.

My biggest Birthday surprise was going to Celine Dion Concert.

We were getting ready at the hotel, with cocktails, music, and FaceTiming our dear ones! Oh yeah without forgetting the Photography session in the corridor of the hotel, this was funny and so cool as well. And finally headed to the concert, walking down the road where there were bars on one side and stalls on the other, we waited for Uber and so we arrived.

I WAS IN PARADISE

We had heavy wind, rain, heat and cloudy weather. Did we bathe in the jacuzzi under the rain? yeah, how funny was that? something I always wanted to do ( just not with my girls lol) it was super cool.

The sand was white and the sky was multicolor, also the sea was changing colors reflecting the sky, at times was greenish others blue, early In the morning the beach was empty and after it was full...

The seagulls were flying by the water, others standing as if they were waiting for something.

I wrote in the sand and the waves washed it away, like a prayer to Emanja that she has received it.

Everyone is so cheerful and polite, they take time to connect with you and serve you, the waiters are always smiling and even dancing most of the time, this was really close to my heart as you all know I love dancing and smiling and

THE FOOD

The food was D-E- L-I-C-I-O-U-S I must say, closer to South beach it was ridiculously expensive a plate of pasta was 54 dollars!! cAN YOU ACTUALLY BELIEVE THIS???

When we arrived we paid for starters chicken wings 15 dollars! WoW

But as you walked further away from the area we were able to find cheaper places with lovely taste and beautiful decor.

The drinks and cocktails babe they are served with their soul, you paying for what you are drinking seriously!!! Totally worth it.

REALIZATIONS

Paradise is here, on earth, where we live we just have to learn how to tap it into that energy. We are either a victim of our experiences, or our experiences are the reason why we excel! People are different and will always be, we must accept each individual as they are with their own essence, and find a way to fit our madness into their madness without judgment or forcing them to be something else (that is Love)

I have realized that I have been feeding fear, and allowing that to slow me down,

Previously someone asked me “Why do you still feel that you haven’t yet achieved?”...

I guess is because I am used to the hustle and to always have to fight harder and never win ( even doe that’s not true, it has been a core belief),

I decided

I am letting go.

And so I am ready to Jump.

Wow, this has been a long-ass post, but I wanted to share with you my MIAMI experience, even doe there was so much I could write and express I believe that I touched the main points that were a highlight of my holiday.

I’ll drop some cool pictures of my Birthday surprise Trip below.

Wishing you an amazing week ahead

with love Dinha xx
